Deleting your data
This page is for anyone who has connected a Facebook Page, an Instagram professional account, a LinkedIn Company Page or a TikTok account to Takamoa Marketing (marketing.takamoa.com), our social media management platform. On Facebook it appears as the “Takamoa.” app.
Cut off our access right away
You do not need to write to us to stop all access:
- From Facebook — open Settings & privacy › Settings › Business integrations, select “Takamoa.” and remove it. Meta immediately withdraws the permissions you granted to the app: it can no longer read or publish anything on your behalf.
- From LinkedIn — open Me › Settings & Privacy › Data privacy › Other applications › Permitted services, then remove Takamoa Marketing.
- From TikTok — in the mobile app, open Profile › Menu › Settings and privacy › Security & permissions › Apps and services permissions, select Takamoa Marketing and remove access.
- From Takamoa Marketing — remove the Page or account from your workspaces, then choose “Disconnect completely”: syncing and publishing stop.
If several administrators connected the same Page, each of them must remove the app on their side.
Cutting off access does not erase what we have already stored. For that, ask us to delete your data.
Requesting deletion
- Email contact@takamoa.com with the subject “Data deletion”, from the address of your Takamoa Marketing account if you have one.
- Tell us the network and the Page or account concerned: its name or link is enough.
- We check that the request comes from someone who manages the Page or account, and ask you to confirm it if needed.
- We delete the data within 10 days, then confirm it by email.
A request made from Facebook or TikTok gives you a confirmation code: the Your deletion request page shows where it stands.
What we delete
- The connection — the Page or account ID, name and username, and the permissions granted.
- Access tokens — the keys, stored encrypted, that let the platform act with the network on your behalf.
- Stored statistics — audience, reach and engagement of the Page or account, its posts and its ads.
- Posts — those imported from the Page or account, and the history of those published from Takamoa Marketing.
- The inbox — synced comments and direct messages, attachments and links included, the names, usernames and profile pictures of their authors, and any internal notes attached to them.
What we keep
- Anything published on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or TikTok stays there: delete it directly on those networks.
- Texts and visuals prepared in your Takamoa Marketing workspace do not come from the networks: they remain available as long as the workspace exists.
- Contractual and accounting records, which the law requires us to keep.
- A record that a deletion took place, with its date and an internal ID, without any data from the networks.
